these lines are being written offline – im sitting in a car and we’re on our way to Florence / Italy. We have to attend a business meeting w/ some business partners from there. As on the highway there are no wifi hot spots, I’ve decided to start writing something. Well.. not much to say – Italy… same ol’ same ol’. We’re not in December yet, but on every gas station we stopped, there are already Christmas gadgets working their way up the market. There was this cool Santa, climbing up the rope and singing “jingle bells” so I though, X-mass is ’round the corner.. what am I gonna do for the festivities. Maybe I’ll take my darlin’ and fly some place. Any tips ?
I was thinking London or.. the city (nyc), but as expected the fares are kinda pricey.. so I might consider some more cheap destinations, like… Barcelona or Serbia. Which then again makes me wonder, where to go for nye ? again any ideas ? A friend of mine apparently found a cool low-fare airline (Oasis or something), which would take you to Hong-Kong from London for around ~200 EUR, which sounds like a plan :) If there’s any of you that has some tips about Hong-Kong, drop me an email. I’d appreciate some advice. Or if you have any other ideas in general, you’re more than welcome :)
I’ve started on the development of the 2.0 version of this website covering a lot of other topics. I’ll try to make it work as a community where you people will be able to post your stuff / ideas and whatever keeps your mind busy. Freaks like me (my boss calls me a solo Jazzer), he says that Jazz music is fantastic and all, but quite a few people really like it and understand it – not that I do, but it’s his way to remind me that I’m a freak :) so all you people who are “solo Jazzers” are welcome to contact me and talk about what kind of stuff would you like to write, in order to share our thoughts w/ the rest of you out there ;)
Tomorrow, I’ll be in Ljubljana (Hotel Domina) there’s a corporate event of a friend of mine, hopefully it’s going to be cool and all. I kind of miss quality “after-corporate-events” parties :)
well,
it’s a hard life… but… somebody’s gotta do it :)
