well, I've been delaying the new site for too long, so I've decided to publish it no matter what. it lacks content at the moment, but I've got some things coming up which will enrich the site :)
how do you like it ?
you, can post your comments now using the button below :)
moved, to my girlfriend's place so I took this opportunity to "finish" / move the website as well. a lot of things happened since the last update. the biggest is definitively us moving in together :)
well, enjoy the day. the sun is out and so should we be - out ! :)
these lines are being written offline – im sitting in a car and we’re on our way to Florence / Italy. We have to attend a business meeting w/ some business partners from there. As on the highway there are no wifi hot spots, I’ve decided to start writing something. Well.. not much to say – Italy… same ol’ same ol’. We’re not in December yet, but on every gas station we stopped, there are already Christmas gadgets working their way up the market. There was this cool Santa, climbing up the rope and singing “jingle bells” so I though, X-mass is ’round the corner.. what am I gonna do for the festivities. Maybe I’ll take my darlin’ and fly some place. Any tips ?
I was thinking London or.. the city (nyc), but as expected the fares are kinda pricey.. so I might consider some more cheap destinations, like… Barcelona or Serbia. Which then again makes me wonder, where to go for nye ? again any ideas ? A friend of mine apparently found a cool low-fare airline (Oasis or something), which would take you to Hong-Kong from London for around ~200 EUR, which sounds like a plan :) If there’s any of you that has some tips about Hong-Kong, drop me an email. I’d appreciate some advice. Or if you have any other ideas in general, you’re more than welcome :)
I’ve started on the development of the 2.0 version of this website covering a lot of other topics. I’ll try to make it work as a community where you people will be able to post your stuff / ideas and whatever keeps your mind busy. Freaks like me (my boss calls me a solo Jazzer), he says that Jazz music is fantastic and all, but quite a few people really like it and understand it – not that I do, but it’s his way to remind me that I’m a freak :) so all you people who are “solo Jazzers” are welcome to contact me and talk about what kind of stuff would you like to write, in order to share our thoughts w/ the rest of you out there ;)
Tomorrow, I’ll be in Ljubljana (Hotel Domina) there’s a corporate event of a friend of mine, hopefully it’s going to be cool and all. I kind of miss quality “after-corporate-events” parties :)
yesterday, we’ve attended a corporate event at Viba film in Ljubljana. the occasion was the celebration of Žurnal’s 4th birthday and the launch of their web edition. Žurnal is a Slovenian free magazine, actually it’s a journal (Žurnal in Slovenian means journal). the event was produced by TnT events.
it went smooth, but the content was kind of “been there / done that” sort of thing. I’m talking about the speeches. that being said, it was a cool party :) Soul fingers were performing and they are worth the money, for sure. rocking music, great performance, sweet sounds - perfect.
here’s the thing… after a few cocktails me and my friends decided that we should be stand up comedians, so we started to take roles :) the game begun…
I was from New York City and was a professional window cleaner (the best in town), so whoever I met, that was my line :) it turned out to make our evening, we had a galactic laugh on our way home, actually I’m laughing as I’m writing these lines :) hehehe, I’m apologizing to all of you that bought those lines :) but hey, it’s a party, right ? :)
we’ve been caught on camera, so here’s a photo I took from Žurnal’s site:
and here’s a few video clips I took. Soul fingers and a performer, which was pretty cool.
oh, and keep yourself updated, ’cause the 18th or the 19th of December, we’re going to have an event. it’s gonna be braintastic™ ! :)
till the next crazy thing in my path… you have a great day ! :) ciao
yesterday evening (working late), while on my way home I got a phone call saying that the Slovenian most famous band was performing on top of a building - unannounced. the band was Siddharta .
I’ve packed my things, ran to my car… to get to view this fantastic scene. they were performing on top of a building in occasion of a shop opening (Soča), if you ask me one of the best marketing workouts I’ve seen lately. I will definitively visit this shop :)
obviously me and my gizmo did our work and here’s the outcome :
